"We recently decided to switch agents after an experience we had when calling to ask about filing a hail damage claim. When I contacted this office, the girl who answered the phone focused heavily on how filing a claim could negatively affect our policy and potentially raise our premium. It felt more like we were being talked out of making a claim rather than being supported or guided through the process. Since we have never filed a claim before, we were simply looking for help and clear information about our options and instead the conversation left us feeling discouraged and unsure about moving forward with something we initially believed should be a straightforward situation. Because of that experience, we decided it was best to look for a different agent who would be more supportive and willing to help us understand the process."
